Dear Dhiraj, Sourcing of initial clients would totally depend on your target audience. Once you are able surely indicate your target audience fully defined then you need to formulate the market access strategy. If your product is for school students you need to plan an in-school campaigns - may be putting a stall during a Parent Teacher Meet and interact with parents on your product. Or may be capturing their contact data and connect them over telephone for an in-house appointment.

Hi Dheeraj,

Some good ideas above...I'll put into a view a few questions that should be in your marketing plan. Where are your clients today, where are they going? What does your edtech ecosystem look today, future to support those clients? What competitors have some of the clients that you are targeting? What's your relationship with those targets?

Good luck, Gord

Hi Dheeraj,

A few questions that you need to think deeply about to get the ball rolling:

1- What is your software for? What change is it making? How does it transform your customer, from where to where?

2- Who is your software for? Clearly, you are not for everyone, who exactly are you helping then?

3- Suppose I'm your perfect customer, what's your promise to me? What promise can you make that touches my heart and makes me eager to proceed forward with you?

There's a long list of questions that can put you in front of people who are looking for exactly what you offer. But you must start with the trifecta above. What's it for, who's it for, and what promise is it making.
